New Tool · Shot preview

The right moment, before take-off.

Enter the address and which way the front of the house faces. The tool works out when the sun lights the façade, golden hour, blue hour and the best slots of the next two weeks. The drone shots are illustrated on the aerial view.

Sun computed to the minute · Open-Meteo forecast · Québec aerial imagery

For reference only. The drone paths are simplified movements, not to scale, to help you picture the shoot: the pilot adapts them on site. Use the tool mainly to pick the moment. The sun position, on the other hand, is computed precisely.

Illustrated shots

Position locked: the map moves, not the house.

Your session

A single visit, on the side where the façade looks best: the façade in the sun and golden hour. Twilight is added to the same visit: at dusk in the evening, or at dawn in the morning.

    ( 01 ) Signature shots

Eight movements, one story that sells.

Each shot has a job in the video. On the map, they are simplified to give you an idea; on site, the pilot adjusts them around trees, wires, neighbours and the light of the moment.

    1. 01 · The arrival

      Approach

The drone glides toward the house, descending to the front door like an arriving guest. A warm opening.

    2. 02 · The opening

      Reveal

The drone starts low in front of the façade, then pulls back as it rises. The house unfolds with its land. This is the video’s opening.

    3. 03 · The depth

      Tracking shot

The drone slides parallel to the façade. Trees pass in the foreground and add depth: a truly cinematic shot.

    4. 04 · The volume

      Orbit

A full circle around the house. Buyers grasp its size, the yard and the privacy of the lot.

    5. 05 · The view

      Pedestal rise

The drone rises on the spot in front of the house and unveils what lies behind: the lake, the mountain, the city. Perfect for an exceptional view.

    6. 06 · The rhythm

      Flyover

It passes over the roof and dives toward the backyard, the pool or the grounds. It is the dynamic shot of the vertical reel.

    7. 07 · The site plan

      Top-down

Straight overhead, camera pointing down: the lot lines, the pool and the driveway, like a site plan.

    8. 08 · The neighbourhood

      Context

A rise that shows the neighbourhood, the lake, the mountain and nearby amenities: what buyers can’t see in the photos.

    How to read the light

    • Façade in the sun: the sun lights the front of the house. Colours stay true and the house stands out.
    • Golden hour: warm, low-angle light, the most flattering, especially when it falls on the façade side.
    • Noon: short shadows, the best time for the top-down shot, but harsher light on the façades.
    • Blue hour: the house lights up and the sky keeps its colour. Ideal when the bright sky is behind the house.

Sun times are calculated to within 3 minutes for flat ground. The tool can’t see trees, neighbouring buildings or hills: a façade “in the sun” can stay in the shade of a tall tree, and the sun sets earlier behind a mountain. The day picks are based on Open-Meteo forecasts and our flight thresholds, with no artificial intelligence: reliable a few days out, a trend beyond that.
